For many years I (Bethany) have run Oak Valley Kids, a busy and successful family child care program in Bel Air, Maryland. About four months after I opened in 2008, I got a call from a new mom (Kristen) who had just had a beautiful baby girl and needed care. Well... From that one phone call, we've been friends and, as I needed Kristen has popped in and out if the program as office manager, substitute teacher and savior. Now, we're in here together!!
Over the years, we've noticed all sorts of the issues that keep coming up are:
1) can this toy/product hold up under the unique use and abuse that happens in a day care setting?
2) is this product worth the money that was paid for it?
We're going to look at items made for centers and day cares. We're going to look at a variety of the toys, furnishings, food and kitchen supplies, outdoor items. Everything we use on a daily basis. We'll give the low down what it is, how it worked or didn't, how it held up, etc...
Stop back in to see our ideas and opinions on how STUFF hold up to the repeated use and abuse from a room full of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and two BUSY teachers!!
